FISHER-BRASH WEDDING

The following item taken from a San Antonio paper will prove of interest to the many friends of Mr. Brash who for many years has considered Las Vegas as his home:

“A pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Lee Rice Wednesday evening when Mrs. Louise Fisher of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Ted Brash of San Benito were married. Prior to the ceremony which was read by Rabbi Ephriam Frisoh, pastor of Temple Beth-El, Mrs. J. Ross Gravens sang “O Day of Golden Promises,” accompanied by Mrs. E.P. Arneson, who also played Mendelssohn’s Wedding March. The only attendant was the flower girl, little Jane Rice, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Rice.

Immediately after the ceremony the wedding party motored to the San Antonio Country Club where a beautiful dinner was given by Dr. and Mrs. Rice.

The table, at which covers were laid for 12 guests, had for its centerpiece a large silver basket of pink and yellow spring flowers and pink tapers in silver holders.

Among the out-of-town guests were Mrs. J. Ross Cravens and Mrs. Frank McKane of Shawnee, Okla., Mrs. Bertha B. Morse of Las Vegas, N.M., sister of the bridegroom; Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Downs of San Benito, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brewster of Fort Worth.

Later in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Brash left for a motor trip through the valley, after which they will be at home in San Benito.
