Peronto

 

Mrs. Alice Peronto, 75, of 1212 Fairmont Lane, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, July 15, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Plank will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

 

Mrs. Peronto was born June 16, 1906, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anton and marie Hackbarth Krainik. She attended schools in Manitowoc graduating with the first class of Lincoln High School in 1924. She was married to Roy Peronto May 26, 1934, at Manitowoc, the couple residing here all their lives. Mrs. Peronto was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the U.C.T., a charter member of Memorial Hospital and a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star No. 196. She taught ceramic classes for many years at her home.

 

Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter in law, Charles and Gloria Peronto of Manitowoc; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Paul and Evelyn Krainik, and Mrs. Elva Krainik of Manitowoc, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary, a brother, Alvin, and a sister, Viola.

 

Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church Saturday until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
