ELKIN MOSES DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME
Funeral services for Elkin Moses 71 years old, certified public company official, who died suddenly at his residence, 1514 Dufossat street, Tuesday morning, were conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. from the Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp funeral home, 4117 South Claiborne avenue. Rabbi Louis Binstock of Temple Sinai, of which congregation Mr. Moses was for years a member, officiated. Interment was in Dispersed of Judah cemetery.
Mr. Moses, who was a senior member of the firm of Moses, Bittier and Dienes, certified public accountants, was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a member of the Young Men’s Hebrew Association, the B’nai B’rith and the Institute of American Certified Public Accountants.
Surviving are his widow, formerly Miss Ida Runkel, a son, Walter B. Moses; a daughter Mrs. Irma Isaacson; a brother Phineas Moses; a sister, Miss Katie Moses, and four grandchildren.
